Prime Minister Ion Chicu, at a today’s cabinet meeting, asked for information on Moldova’s supply with gas as of the 2021 year. Economics and Infrastructure Minister Anatol Usatii said that a meeting of the board of observers of the MoldovaGaz stock company would be held on 17 December, during which the extension of the contract on gas delivery will be considered, without the changing of the conditions earlier agreed upon with Gazprom.
Six municipalities from Moldova during 2021-2027 will be turned into developed regional centres in Moldova. To this end, the government approved a national programme on development of cities poles of the municipalities Cahul, Comrat, Ungheni, Orhei, Soroca and Edinet.

The cabinet considered a draft decision which provides for the adoption of a new Customs Code in the Republic of Moldova. This derives from the need to execute the commitments assumed by our country, by signing the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, being one of the necessary conditions for fulfilling the commitments of the Republic of Moldova under the Loan Agreement on the Omnibus exceptional macro-financial assistance program.
