Singapore, 11 November 2020 - The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) today announced a collaboration to welcome the launch of the Singapore-Hong Kong Air Travel Bubble, ahead of the departure of the first flights on 22 November 2020.
Singapore Customs and the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) on 10 November 2020 to explore Single Window connectivity to facilitate cargo clearance and enhance supply chain security. The LOI was signed electronically via a videoconference between Deputy Director-General, Singapore Customs, Mr Lim Teck Leong and Executive Assistant Commissioner of the United States Customs and Border Protection, Ms Brenda Smith.
I had not intended to speak on the subject, but after listening to so many speakers, I am truly gratified at the support for environmental action and climate change that is coming from all sides of this house. As the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Climate Change (IMCCC), I have never seen such overwhelming support in so many years and I am glad that it is so forthcoming.
