Prime Minister Ingrida ŠimonytÄ— extends greetings to Lithuanian citizens and all Europeans on 9 May, the Europe Day. Today, the Prime Ministers of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have signed a joint statement stressing that Europe needs bold and visionary ideas and determination to implement them.
In the run-up to the European Council, President Gitanas NausÄ—da took part in the remote preparatory session with President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and leaders of Cyprus, Luxembourg, and Malta.
President Gitanas NausÄ—da of Lithuania and President Andrzej Duda of Poland had a telephone conversation to discuss the latest situation on the Lithuania-Belarus border.
On Thursday, President Gitanas NausÄ—da presented credentials to Lithuania’s ambassadors to Turkey, Egypt, and to International Organizations in Vienna.

I know that hybrid challenges can be a novelty for us, but we need to learn and adapt quickly.
