CPI rose 1.0% year-on-year in July
Driven by the continuous increase in pork supply, food prices fell by 3.7% year-on-year in July, an increase of 2.0 percentage points from the previous month. Among various foods, the price of pork fell by 43.5%, an increase of 7.0 percentage points from the previous month; the prices of freshwater fish, eggs and edible vegetable oil rose by 30.9%, 18.3% and 9.5% respectively.
