1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BB News International website, mobile experiences, newsletters, or any related service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BB News International provides news, verification, and editorial content through its public website. Some features described in our marketing pages — including certain premium content tiers, real-time alerting, and multimedia streaming — are in active development and are not yet available to the public. Where a feature is not live, the Service will say so rather than silently failing.
3. Accounts & Subscriptions
Reader access requires a verified Google account. New subscribers provide their name and optional profile details before leaving BB News for Stripe Checkout. BB News receives subscription status from a signed Stripe webhook; starting or returning from checkout alone does not grant access.
Subscription prices and enrollment terms will be displayed before a paid plan is offered. Joining the reader waitlist does not start a subscription or grant access. Readers with an active subscription can manage payment details or cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access continues while the subscription remains active; cancellation takes effect when Stripe reports that it has ended.
Stripe processes your payment. Taxes, refunds, and mandatory consumer rights are handled according to applicable law and the terms shown by Stripe at checkout.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service to distribute malware or unlawful content; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls; (c) scrape or bulk-extract editorial content for redistribution without a separate written license; or (d) impersonate BB News International staff or affiliates.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
All editorial content, trademarks, product names, and the "Sovereign Emerald & Champagne Gold" visual identity are the property of BB News International Corporation or its licensors, as further described in the Trademark & IP Notice in the site footer. Editorial content currently shown across the Service is test/placeholder data used during development and does not represent published journalism.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. This deployment is a pre-launch build; several backend endpoints intentionally return an explicit "not yet built" response rather than fabricated data. A current list of what is and is not live is maintained internally and should be reflected in any public status page before launch.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BB News International Corporation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. 8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
